Accurate Weather Prediction: iOS: Dark Sky, one of the widely appreciated weather apps for iOS, got a big update recently, bringing in a whole new set of notifications, crowd sourced weather, and a new timeline of course. The update adds a new timeline view so you can quickly look at the forecast for the day by the hour. You can also now set it with better notifications too, alerting you of upcoming weather conditions over the next twenty-four hours instead of just the impending rain. You can set these alerts up to notify you at a specific scheduled time each day, and get them only when they meet a specific criteria.

Dark Sky can tell you at a glance exactly when it will rain (or snow) up to an hour in advance, so you’re free to walk the dog or run out to lunch and know you’ll stay dry. You can also explore the most beautiful weather animation you’ve ever seen, both forward in time or back.
